Diageo launches Cardhu Gold Reserve Scotch

Diageo has expanded the portfolio of its Cardhu single malt Scotch whisky brand with the launch of Cardhu Gold Reserve.

Speyside single malt Scotch whisky Cardhu has launched a new no-age-statement expression

Described as possessing sweet notes of toffee and baked apple, the Speyside no-age-statement expression has been matured in toasted oak casks.

Its launch follows that of no-age-statement Cardhu Amber Rock, which was unveiled in February this year

“Carefully crafted in hand-picked toasted oak casks, this single malt has a warm toffee and fruity finish,” said Maureen Robinson, Cardhu master distiller. “Cardhu has a long tradition of creating generously flavoured malts and Cardhu Gold Reserve is a wonderful example of this.”

Priced at £35 and bottled at 40% abv, Cardhu Gold Reserve is now available from major international retailers and whisky specialist across the UK.
