The Whisky Shop has claimed to “raise the bar for whisky retailing across the globe” with its new luxury website.

The Whisky Shop has launched a new “luxury” website designed to “demystify whisky”

The UK drinks retailer’s new digital platform, said to appeal to both whisky novices and connoisseurs alike, features a whisky knowledge bar, video tastings and interviews with distillery managers.

Designed by The Big Partnership, the website aims to “demystify whisky” through brand communications and video content, showcasing a collection of malts and blends from around the world.

“Our vision for the new whiskyshop.com was to take online whisky retailing to a new level through providing an unprecedented level of knowledge to consumers in an accessible way, replicating the experience offered in our physical retail stores and unlocking the mystery of whisky,” said Andrew Torrance, managing director of The Whisky Shop.

“The visual and experiential quality of the website, including the brand-led videography and our whisky knowledge bar, have been designed with providing an interactive and engaging user experience at the forefront of mind.”

The Whisky Shop is the UK’s largest whisky only specialist retailer with 22 stores nationwide, the newest of which it is second flagship store in Manchester.
