Disaronno to launch €300 Scotch-based liqueur
Traditional Italian amaretto liqueur Disaronno is launching its first ultra-premium brand extension, a Scotch-based product with a €300 price tag.
Disaronno Riserva liqueur will carry an RRP of €300
Disaronno Riserva is a 40% abv liqueur with a young blended malt Scotch whisky base from the Highlands and Speyside, with amaretto flavours.
The liqueur has been further rested to marry in Sicily in Florio marsala wine casks for six months, and is described as delivering notes of vanilla, almonds and fruit with a peppery, dried fruit and madeira finish.
Brand owner Ilva Saronno designed the expression to give Disaronno a “a more premium image”. It is presented packaged in a unique frame featuring clear film to cast the illusion of the bottle being suspended inside,
“Disaronno Riserve demonstrates the know-how of Ilva Saronno in the business, and combines the tradition of Disaronno with the flavour of Scotch whisky,” said Augusto Reina, CEO of Ilva Saronno.
It will be released in select domestic markets with prestige retailers, as well as in global duty free.
