Cocktail classics reinvented for London event

D1 London Gin created a range of reinvented classic cocktails to celebrate Feathers Boutique’s 40th anniversaryThe brand, which launched in the UK in June this year, provided its signature mint garnish twist on the classic gin and tonic, and also re-inevented the classic Cosmopolitan cocktail.
Attended by top fashion and style influencers, the event was a celebration of Feathers’ success as an independent boutique in showcasing leading and emerging talent across generations.
“For us the event was a perfect collaboration of innovative brands focused on providing highest quality product with design and style”, said D1 London Gin’s Dominic Limbrey.
“We wanted to show how super-premium gin is becoming more relevant to a broad range of lifestyles by serving twists of gin classics and also showing how a cocktail such as cosmopolitan can deliver so much more with a distinctive smooth highest quality gin.”
D1 London Gin is contained in a reversible bottle designed in collaboration with contemporary artist Jacky Tsai, featuring his “floral skull” made famous by the designs of Alexander McQueen.
It is described as a “versatile gin combined with contemporary art branding” which seeks to appeal to gin lovers as well as vodka drinkers.
