Hendrick’s targets gifters with smaller pack size

William Grant & Sons has launched a new 350ml Minisculinity pack in the UK to target the gifting market.

The new gift pack, which is presented in a blue embossed box, comes complete with a book of 12 cocktail recipes.

James O’Connor, senior brand manager for Hendrick’s at William Grant & Sons UK, said: “We… have big hopes for this little pack. Gin is a key gifting category, with 34% of shoppers saying they have purchased gin as a gift for friends or family, and we’re always looking for ways to help our fans and new drinkers experience the amazing taste of Hendrick’s Gin.

“The 35cl is a great introduction to Hendrick’s, and the perfect present for any cocktail lover.”

According to the William Grant & Sons UK Market Report 2014, alcohol is the most gifted product, with 51% of consumers having purchased spirits in the past year as a present.

Purchases vary between standard bottles to premium and added value gift packs.

The Hendrick’s 350ml Minisculinity Pack will be stocked in ASDA, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Selfridges from October, for an RRP of £18.49.
