Buffalo Trace 2014 Antique Collection hits UK
Bourbon producer Buffalo Trace is to release the 2014 edition of its rare Antique Collection in the UK next month.
Buffalo Trace is soon to launch the 2014 edition of its Antique Collection in the UK
The five-strong collection consists of: George T. Stagg, William Larue Weller, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, Eagle Rare 17 Year Old, and Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old, all of which are produced in batches and given strict allocation every year.
“There is always high demand for our limited UK allocation of the Antique Collection, and we expect that to be higher than ever for the 2014 release after another year of category growth for the American whiskey,” said Dan Bolton, managing director of UK distributor Hi-Spirits.
Sazerac, owner of Buffalo Trace, said the latest Antique Collection is to be released at a time when Bourbon sales continue to boom, citing Nielson data showing that sales of off-trade American whiskey grew more than 15.3% on the year to April 2014.
Bottles in the 2014 Antique Collection are expected to range from £120 to £140 and will be available from mid-October.
