Warner Edwards unveils ‘regal’ rhubarb gin

Warner Edwards Distillery is releasing a limited edition rhubarb gin this September using a rhubarb variety originally grown in Queen Victoria’s garden.

Warner Edwards’ Victoria Rhubarb Gin will make its debut in Fortnum & Mason

The new Warner Edwards Victoria’s Rhubarb Gin will be launched exclusively at Fortnum & Mason from 1 September.

Created using Warner Edwards’ Harrington Dry Gin infused with rhubarb and sugar, the spirit is bottled at 40% abv and hand-sealed with red wax at the Northamptonshire distillery.

Tom Warner, Warner Edwards co-founder, said: “Our Rhubarb Gin is smooth and earthy with an exquisite fruity balance of sweet and sour.  The rhubarb combines natural acidity with a fruity sweetness to create a real palate cleanser that’s exceptionally quaffable.”

Just 8,000 bottles of Victoria’s Rhubarb Gin have been produced.
