Heaven Hill Distilleries is launching a new Elijah Craig 23 Year Old Single Barrel BourbonThe 23 Year Old is the successor to the Elijah Craig 21 Year Old expression launched last year, which has since sold out.
“All of the extra-aged limited edition American Whiseys we have released, including the previous Elijah Craig Single Barrels as well as our Parker’s heritage Collection and the Rittenhouse 21, 23 and 23-year-old, have quickly sold out through to the connoisseur markets,” said Susan Wahl, Heaven Hill senior brand manager,
“This release, like the 21-Year-Old and 20-Year-Old Single Barrels the preceded it, will take the consumer on a tasting journey of discovery that will motivate them to move up the line, from the more widely available 12-Year-Old Elijah Craig Small Batch, to Elijah Craig Barrel Proof and on through these more aged, rare bottlings.”
The new bottling will share a similar packaging design with previous Elijah Craig releases, featuring a flask shaped bottle and cork closure complete with a marbled capsule.
The blue label of the 21 Year Old has been replaced with a green one, which displayed the 23-year age statement in white and gold in the centre.
Launching throughout August and September, Elijah Craig 23 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon has an abv of 45%carries and RRP of US$199,99 per 750ml bottle.
