DeJoria’s Uisce Beatha Irish whiskey takes on US
By Becky PaskinUisce Beatha, the Irish whiskey brand launched earlier this year by Patron founder John Paul DeJoria’s Rok Drinks, has gained distribution in the US through The Marsalle Company.
Uisce Beatha Irish whiskey will now be available in the USThe brand, a blend of malt and grain Irish whiskeys from undisclosed sources, is being launched this month in Illinois, New York, California, Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee.
It will be given a nationwide roll-out later in the year.
Named after the Gaelic for “Water of Life”, Uisce Beatha has been matured in ex-Bourbon casks for a minimum of four years for a “soft, subtle and delicately sweet flavour”.
DeJoria said: “We have great pride in Uisce Beatha Real Irish Whiskey, as we are curators of a great heritage in Irish whiskey. We are excited that our award winning whiskey is now available to whiskey lovers in the US.”
Uisce Beatha is the flagship product developed by Rok Drinks, a subsidiary of Rok Stars, the consumer goods and environmental technologies company founded by DeJoria and British entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick.
The US distribution follows the release of Uisce Beatha in Sweden and the UK earlier this year.
