Darnley’s View Gin cements ‘family look’ with label redesign

Wemyss Malts has updated the label design of its Darnley’s View Gin to match that of its award-winning Spiced sister variant.

Having first launched Darnley’s View Spiced in 2012 with a two-part label design that “accentuates the craft feel” of the product, the Edinburgh-based group is transferring the same labelling to its original gin.

William Wemyss, managing director of Wemyss Malts, said: “We are delighted to present Darnley’s View with its new two-part label, designed to accentuate the craft feel of our range and now cementing the family look with Darnley’s View Spiced Gin. Already a firm favourite on many gin menus, we are sure that our customers will appreciate the new style label.”

Darnley’s View Gin, the main botanicals of which are juniper, elderflower and lemon peel, was launched in 2010 and is now available in over 20 countries worldwide.

Darnley’s View Spiced was introduced two years later, and features juniper, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cumin, cloves and coriander seed among its botanicals.
