William Grant & Sons has appointed Gebr. Heinemann’s former head of liquor in Eastern Europe to its travel retail team.
Katia Egerter joins William Grant as head of business development for European travel retail
Katia Egerter, formerly head of liquor and confectionery for the travel retailer in Russia, CIS and the Baltics, has joined William Grant as business development manager within its European GTR team.
Reporting to Andre de Almeida, director of Europe for GTR, Egerter will be responsible for several key European accounts, including Gebr. Heinemann.
“Katia has a wealth of industry experience, has a strong understanding of the Russian and CIS consumer, speaks several languages and I am sure will be an extremely valuable addition to our team,” de Almeida said.
