Jamie Oliver searches for next face of cocktails

Jamie Oliver is calling for professional and amateur bartenders to record their cocktail-making skills on video for the chance to be “the new face of online cocktail mixing”.

Launched through the new Drinks Tube channel, Jamie Oliver’s Search for a Cocktail Star with Bacardi is encouraging cocktail enthusiasts around the world to upload a video of themselves presenting their own drink to YouTube.

A judging panel comprised of drinks experts and the Drinks Tube team will select 10 semi-finalists to shoot a new cocktail using two products from Bacardi’s range.

TV chef Jamie Oliver will then select five finalists to go through to a public vote on the Drinks Tube channel.

The winner will be given an all-expenses-paid trip to London, plus a range of Jamie Oliver-themed prizes including a cocktail masterclass with fellow Drinks Tube presenter Simone Caporale.
