Licor 43 targets on-trade with summer activities

Spanish liqueur brand Licor 43 plans to increase on-trade activity this summer as part of its UK consumer launch with a selection of summer serves.

Licor 43 has revealed a range of summer serves to target the UK on-trade

A select team of brand advocates will travel around the UK launching various different promotions that will offer consumers the opportunity to enjoy a “taste of Spain”.

The first event is set to take place on Sautrday 7 June at Leeds Loves Cocktails Week at district bar, where the Licor 43 courtyard will provide live music, DJ sets, plus a Licor 43 cocktail master classes hosted by one of the brand advocates demonstrating how to make the perfect serve.

The second event will celebrate the world’s most famous cycling race, Tour de France, when from 7 July the Licor 43 brand advocates will join forces with the Yorkshire Hotel in Harrogate, West Yorkshire, and offer guests a special serve during the Welcome to Yorkshire Luncheon.

Two additional venues – the Fleece and the Craven Heifer in Addingham – will be serving four specially created Tour de France Licor 43 serves, while in Leeds Bierkeller will be serving the mini43.

“These events are a great way to kick off our summer calendar of promotional activity that we have planned for this year with Licor 43,” said Licor 43 brand manager Julia Bliss. “We are looking forward to engaging consumers with the Spanish tastes of the liqueur and bringing golden moments to the UK.”

Serves will include Ibiza43, a blend of Licor 43, rum and pineapple juice served over ice, and Balon43, a combination of Licor 43, sparkling water and fresh lemon juice.
