New whisky and music festival to launch in UK

New whisky and music festival, The Whisky Sessions, is to launch in Manchester this NovemberTaking place at Manchester’s historic Victoria Warehouse on 21 and 22 November, The Whisky Sessions will see guests enjoy bands including I am Kloot, Gomez and British Sea Power and sample an array of whisky from across the world.
More than 20 blues, americana, folk and indie acts will perform throughout the festival, while whisky experts and bartenders will be on hand to lead tastings and make whisky cocktails.
The event was will be launched by The Ingenious Events Company, part of events organiser the IWSC Group.
“We’re delighted to be revealing The Whisky Sessions, which we feel is a unique music experience with a whisky twist,” said Allen Gibbons, chief executive of the IWSC Group.
“Whisky has been the source of inspiration for countless numbers of musicians over the years, and as the world is currently exploding with great new whiskies emanating from both traditional and new countries, we thought it was a great time to get the two together.”
General admission tickets cost £35, while a limited number of VIP tickets are available for £55. Each ticket includes a limited number of whisky tastings in the Whisky Hotel on site.
Two pop up Whisky Sessions will take in June in the run-up to the Manchester event – at the Isle of Wight Festival and Foodies Festival on Clapham Common.
