Dodd’s Gin reveals new limited edition bottle

The London Distillery Company is commemorating the first anniversary of its Dodd’s Gin brand with a new limited edition bottling exclusively available in Fortnum & Mason.

The London Distillery Company is celebrating the one year anniversary of Dodd’s with a new limited edition bottle

Created in collaboration with the London-based luxury retailer, only 300 bottles of the new bottle design will be available. Each bottle has been hand labelled and numbered and features an exclusive design by agency United Creatives.

“Over the last year Fortnum & Mason has been fantastically supportive of the distillery and what we do,” said Darren Rook, CEO of The London Distillery Company.

“When talking with them about a collaboration for our first anniversary, an exclusive Dodd’s Gin using their heritage and honey as inspiration seemed a natural progression.”

Rock added that the distillery experimented with teas, spices and other botanicals available at Fortnum & Mason to create a new recipe for the limited edition gin.

Dodd’s Gin was the first product to be released by the Battersea-based distillery, launching in April last year.

The brand pays tribute to 18th century entrepreneur and founder of The Intended London Distillery Company Ralph Dodd.

The London Distillery Company also claims to be currently creating London’s first single malt whisky in over a century.

Available from 2 April, Dodd’s Gin Fortnum’s Edition will carry an RRP of £39.50 as Spirit of the Month, after which it will retail for £42.50.

In-store tastings will take place during the first week of the release and tutored tastings are to be held on Wednesday 9 April. Spaces are limited, click here for more information.
