Zubrowka transfers Oz distribution to Suntory

Polish vodka brand Zubrowka has announced it will move distribution in Australia to Suntory Australia from 1 February.

Polish vodka brand Zubrowka is to transfer Australia distribution to Suntory Australia

Zubrowka’s partnership with Suntory will create new collaborations for the brand and its parent company, Russian Standard, in Australia, where Suntory already distributes the company’s flagship vodka.

The move will also allow Zubrowka to become part of Suntory Australia’s on-premise portfolio.

Trent Russell, area director for Australia and New Zealand, said: “We’re excited by the transition to Suntory with whom we already have a successful relationship with the distribution of Russian Standard Vodka.

“The move not only allows us to consolidate our brands through the one route to market vehicle, but more importantly it allows Zubrowka to benefit from Suntory’s on-premise capabilities and build upon the foundation that has already been established in the market.”

Zubrowka, otherwise known as The Bison Grass vodka, is produced exclusively out of a distillery in Bialystok, Poland, where the rye-based vodka goes through multiple distillations before pure bison grass essence is added.
