Absinthe Hapsburg releases new Cassis flavour

Hapsburg Absinthe launches a Cassis flavour in the UK
The premium spirit brand’s latest release combines the distinctive flavour of an authentic absinthe with the fragrance and taste of blackcurrant.
Designed to flavour cocktails with a measure of 10ml or less, Absinthe Hapsburg X.C. Cassis has an abv strength of 89.9%.
The new flavour is being distributed in the UK by Hi-Spirits.
“X.C. Cassis is a wonderful addition to our portfolio of elite brands, targeting mixologists,” explained Dan Bolton, Hi-Spirits managing director.
“Although there are simple ways to serve and enjoy the brand, our core customer is cocktail experts who will use a dash of the spirit to create their own unique drinks.”
Suggested serves of the release include mixing X.C Cassis with traditional lemonade to enjoy as a chilled drink over ice, or adding to sparkling wine to create a twist on the Kir Royale.
A 500ml bottle of Hapsburg X.C Cassis will make 50 cocktails and has an RRP of £55 a bottle.
