Skyy Georgia Peach jumps on flavour trend

Campari is capitalising on the growing trend for peach-flavoured vodka in the US, by releasing two new Skyy Infusions – Georgia Peach and Vanilla Bean.

Skyy Infusions Georgia Peach and Vanilla Bean vodka are now available in the US

Citing Nielsen data, Campari claims peach has become the third most popular vodka flavour in the US, growing by 37% in the last year.

Skyy Infusions Georgia Peach is a blend of Skyy vodka with real fruit grown in Georgia – also known as the Peach State.

Skyy Infusions Vanilla Bean meanwhile is a blend of vodka with real vanilla beans, giving a taste Campari describes as “rich, smooth” and with “slightly toasted caramel” notes.

“Vanilla and peach are both flavours that have been explored by the beverage industry for years, but most times they come across tasting artificial or cloying,” said Kathleen Schuart, senior marketing director for Skyy Vodka.

“By utilising our proprietary infusions process – actually infusing vodka with vanilla bean and Georgia peach – Skyy is able to capture the true essence of these beloved flavours, which in tuen elevates the entire cocktail experience.”

The two expressions join the brand’s range of Skyy Infusions flavoured vodkas, which since its launch in 2008, now includes Moscato Grape, Citrus, Dragon Fruit, Ginger Cherry, and Passion Fruit amongst others.

Skyy Infusions Georgia Peach and Vanilla Bean are available in 50ml, 750ml one-litre and 1.75L bottles, with an RRP of US$18.49 for 750ml.
