Russian Standard takes on Heaven Hill in Russia

Just days after announcing it is to handle the distribution of Jose Cuervo in Russia, Russian Standard is now also to handle the Heaven Hill Bourbon portfolio in the country.

Heaven Hill’s Elijah Craig brand, along with the group’s other Bourbon brands, will be distributed in Russia by Russian Standard

Russian Standard is to exclusively market and distribute US drinks group Heaven Hill’s Bourbon portfolio in Russia, including the Heaven Hill, Evan Williams, Elijah Craig and Bernheim brands.

The partnership with Russian Standard, the largest wine and spirits group in Central and Eastern Europe, is expected to give Heaven Hill a stronger foothold in the Russian market as overseas sales of Bourbon continue to climb.

According to Euromonitor data, 70% of annual American whiskey growth between now and 2016 will come from overseas markets.

The announcement comes just hours after Russian Standard revealed its partnership to distribute Jose Cuervo in the country.

Russian Standard’s portfolio includes the flagship Russian Standard Vodka, Green Mark, Parliament, Zhuravli, and Zubrówka.
