Stoli launches rare crystal bottling

Stolichnaya vodka has unveiled a limited edition made of water from New Zealand’s Blue Spring and bottled in rare crystal.

Only 300 bottles of Stolichnaya elite The New Zealand Edition will be available globally at an RRP of US$3,000, following an initial launch at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

The new release, which forms part of Stolichnaya’s elite pristine water series, features a French Royale de Champagne crystal bottle contained New Zealand-native Kauri wood.

The company said: “Revered for its exceptional clarity and exquisite blue hues, the water that flows from the Blue Spring is naturally filtered over hundreds of years through the pumice of the towering Mamakau Ranges.

“This rarefied water is then combined with the most exceptional Russian Alpha Spirit at the historic Latvijas Balzams distillery in Latvia.”

Bottled at 40% abv, The New Zealand Edition follows the launch of The Himilayas Edition in the elit series earlier this year.

Stolichnaya’s elit series is partnered with Oceana – an international organization which aims to protect the world’s oceans.
