Travel Retail Personality of the Year Award launches
Nominations are being sought for the inaugural Spirits Business Travel Retail Brand Personality of the Year Award.
The award has been created to highlight the important and often varied role of those working to promote their spirit brand in travel retail.
“We found most awards in the travel retail sector rewarded buyers and retailers over those working on spirit brands themselves,” said Daisy Jones, associate publisher of The Spirits Business.
“We want to shine a light on these people who work incredibly hard to get their brands showcased in travel retail, which can be an extremely competitive arena with a huge number of brands vying for the attention of travellers. With so many imaginative installations and POS promotions, the work these talented individuals do to promote their brands is nothing short of extraordinary, and we want to recognise that with this award.”
Nominations for The Spirits Business Travel Retail Brand Personality of the Year Award are now being accepted, and must be received by 4 October.
Nominees must be currently working for a spirits brand within the travel retail sector, with their product retailing in at least one travel retail store anywhere in the world.
To enter, please submit no more than 500 words explaining why the nominee should be considered for The Spirits Business Travel Retail Brand Personality of the Year Award, to email@example.com with “Travel Retail Brand Personality of the Year” in the subject line.
A shortlist will be announced on thespiritsbusiness.com on 14 October, with the winner revealed at The Spirits Business Travel Retail Masters Party at The Carlton Beach Restaurant in Cannes on 21 October.
