Edinburgh Spiced Orange Gin rings in Christmas

Spencerfield Spirit Company has added a third flavoured gin to its range of Edinburgh Gins – Spiced Orange – to ring in the new season.

The new flavour will be released in the UK by the Edinburgh-based company to welcome the arrival of autumn and the onset of winter and the Christmas period.

Created from the Gin Master award-winning Edinburgh Gin and infused with red Valencia oranges, Spiced Orange is described as a “warming gin” with notes of cinnamon, spice and honeyed raisins.

Spencerfield Spirits recommend serving the Edinburgh Spiced Orange Gin with soda, cava or Champagne, or in mulled cider for the upcoming festive season.

“We wanted to produce a gin with a flavour to match the season,” said Alex Nicol, managing director of The Spencerfield Spirit Company. “The colour of Spiced Orange is a reminder of autumn leaves on the trees and the oranges give a hint of the cinnamon and spice flavours we all associate with this time of year.

Spiced Orange will be sold in the UK through a partnership distribution agreement with Ian Macleod Distillers at an RRP of £10 for 200ml and £17.99 for 500ml.
