Disaronno and Tia Maria hire first UK brand ambassador

First Drinks has appointed its first UK brand ambassador for Disaronno, Tia Maria and Isolabella.

Rod Eslamieh will be the first brand ambassador for Disaronno and Tia Maria in the UK

Rod Eslamieh, who has more than 10 years bartending experience, will work across the Illva-owned brands to promote their use on-trade and train bartenders on how the provide the “perfect serve” for each.

Sam Bovill, brand manager for Disaronno at First Drinks, said: “We are thrilled to have Rod on board to further build Tia Maria and Disaronno in the UK.

“As well as having an engaging personality, crucial for ambassador roles, Rod has an impressive and comprehensive understanding of the on-trade and some great training experience on major spirits brands.

“We hope the combination of this, along with his passion and enthusiasm, will help build our presence among the trade.”

Eslamieh had previously owned a bar in London and worked for Pernod Ricard and Bacardi Brown-Forman in brand training roles.
