Prof Green to open club with cocktail entreprenuer

British rapper Professor Green is embarking on a joint venture with cocktail and bar entrepreneur Gerry Calabrese to launch a new club.

Professor Green will be joining forces with the Calabrese brothers to launch Ink

The musician – whose real name is Stephen Manderson – and Calabrese – son of mixology legend Salvatore Calabrese – will be launching Ink at Number One Leicester Square next month.

Described as “an East End Club in the heart of the West End”, the club will be open seven days a week from 6pm to 3am and will offer food, drink and music.

The designs of tattoo artists Nikole Lowe and Neil Ahern will be displayed on the walls, reflecting both of the owners’ love of tattoos. Graffiti murals and neon sculptures also adorn the walls of the club, designed by Dimension Interiors.

Drinks from a seasonal cocktail list that takes inspiration from Calabrese’s Hoxton Pony Club in Shoreditch, using fresh, locally sourced produced and homemade syrups, will be served.

Calabrese’s mixologist brother, Jon Calabrese, who also runs The Hoxton Pony, is part of the project.

Professor Green, whose top ten hits include Read All About It and Need You Tonight, is engaged to Made In Chelsea Star Millie Mackintosh.
