Polugar to release new breadwine flavours

Russian Distiller is gearing up for a busy 2013 full of new brand extension launches, developed distribution and increased brand awareness.

The producer of Polugar breadwine, whose products include Single Malt Rye Polugar, Classic Rye Polugar, Krivach 61, Polugar No 1 (Rye & Wheat) and Polugar No 2 (Garlic & Pepper), intends to launch several new Polugars this year.

Amongst the new expressions are a Wheat Polugar, Honey & Allspice, Caraway, and Krivach Multigrain.

Russian Distiller plans on strengthening its distribution in Eastern Europe including Russia, Ukraine and Poland, as well as entering Western European markets including the UK and Italy for the first time.

The group also has its eye on the US and travel retail markets, where it aims to raise brand awareness through consumer and trade tastings and premium event sponsorship.
