Quintessential Brands launches Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin
A new London Dry Oriental spiced gin named Opihr has been launched in the UK and Spain by new British drinks group Quintessential Brands.
Opihr Oriental Spiced London Dry Gin is now available in the UK and Spain
Opihr has been created in a true London Dry style, with spiced notes from botanicals such as coriander from Morocco, black pepper from India and cubeb berries from Indonesia.
Created in homage to the spice route from Philippines to London, Opihr is now available in the UK and Spain through Quintessential and UK partner Marblehead.
The gin is available in 700ml bottles at an RRP of £23. The group suggests serving Opihr with ice, tonic water and a slice of fresh red chilli.
Quintessential Brands, founded by former Campari CEO Enzo Visone and investment banker Warren Scott, officially launched last week. Having acquired Warrington-based distillers G&J Greenall in August 2011, Quintessential now has plans to expand the company into a successful international spirits business.
The group will be expanding its spirits portfolio with new product launches and strategic acquisitions over the coming years.
