Glenmorangie releases golf-themed Father’s Day whisky

Glenmorangie has released a limited edition gift box to mark the start of the Open Golf Championship, and the run up to Father’s Day (16 June).

The ‘Spirit of the Open’ gift pack contains a rare 18-year-old Glenmorangie single malt – a year for each hole on a golf course.

The pack also contains a golden golf ball, two individually designed ball markers and two limited edition Glenmorangie tumblers branded with the ‘Spirit of the Open 2013’ insignia.

“This beautiful and luxurious gift pack is a celebration of the partnership between Glenmorangie and the Open,” said Glenmorangie UK marketing director, Leanne Banks.

Glenmorangie will welcome golfers to Muirfield in Scotland for The Open Championship – golf’s oldest major competition – in July 2013. The 18-year-old gift pack, which is being marketed as a gift for Father’s Day, is available in department stores and specialist retailers for a RRP of £99.
