Bethenny Frankel helps launch new Skinnygirl cocktails

Low-calorie drinks brand Skinnygirl has launched three new pre-mixed cocktails in the US with a little help from brand founder Bethenny Frankel.

The Skinnygirl range contains less than 100 calories per serving

The new flavours all contain 100 calories or less per serving and span Skinnygirl’s established lines of ready-to-serve cocktails, naturally flavoured vodkas and wine.

“Skinnygirl Cocktails continues to raise the bar by delivering on-trend cocktail experiences,” said Megan Frank, director of Skinnygirl Cocktails.

“Whether you’re entertaining at home or celebrating girls’ night out, you don’t need the extra calories to enjoy delicious cocktails and wines. The Skinnygirl Cocktails line, now more than ever, offers the perfect variety of options for enjoying all the flavour without all of the guilt.”

Skinnygirl Mojito is described as “light, fresh and not overly sweetened,” while the ready-to-serve Sweet ‘n’ Tart Grapefruit Margarita offers drinkers a “refreshing citrus taste.”

The White Cherry Vodka comes recommended as making the “perfect” base spirit for “designing guiltless cocktails”. The brand also launched a Moscato wine, a popular variety gaining traction with celebrities Stateside.

Following the unveiling at the “Meet The New Girls” party in Manhattan, Skinnygirl founder Frankel was joined in pouring drinks for guests throughout the night by model Tyson Beckford and Dance With The Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy, among others.

All cash tips raised by the guest bartenders, who also included reality TV show “The Bachelorette” stars J.P Rosebaum, Graham Bunn and Chris Bukowski, at the alfresco-themed party were donated to Dress For Success, a charity helping disadvantaged women gain financial independence.

Skinnygirl Mojito, Grapefruit Margarita and Moscato have a suggested retail price of US$14.99, while White Cherry Vodka carries a suggested $21.99 price tag. All are available nationwide across the US.
