Win a round-the-world trip with Havana Club Gap Year
The winner will travel to 12 countries where their experiences will include training with bartenders in the Cuban capital of Havana, visiting Barcelona during the Festas de la Merce, mixing with Tokyo’s best DJs and helping families living in Rio’s favelas to prepare for the Carnival.
Havana Club’s managing director Jérôme Cottin-Bizonne said: “In Cuba, people take the time to appreciate the simple joys in everyday life, so as a truly international brand, we wanted to help our fans to appreciate the world around them.”
The 365-day round-the-world trip will start in July 2013. The winner will also be tasked with updating Havana Club’s Facebook page with photos, interviews and videos of the places they visit.
“Havana Club is at the edge of cultural marketing and this competition is a great way for us to give our fans the opportunity to experience the Havana-style culture in some of the world’s most exciting cities,” added Cottin-Bizonne.
To be in with a chance of winning, entrants must like the Havana Club Facebook page and upload a short video listing three things they would take with them on their gap year and three things they would leave behind if they won.
The competitor who receives the highest number of votes from each country will go on to compete at the global final in Havana where a panel of judges composed of Cuban artists, bartenders and brand representatives will select the overall winner.
The closing date for entries is 1 March.
