India Bar Show cancelled
By Becky PaskinThe India Bar Show, due to start today in Delhi (26-27 Otober), has been cancelled.
The 2012 India Bar Show (26-27 October) has been cancelled
The annual exhibition organised by creator Douglas Ankrah has cited “licensing issues” as the reason for calling off the show at such late notice, through a short statement issued on Facebook and Twitter yesterday (25 October).
“Due to licensing issues, the India Bar Show has been postponed till further notice. Any inconvenience caused is regretted,” it read.
The decision to postpone the show is thought to be a last minute one, in light of a previous comment tweeted by @indiabarshow on 24 October: “The countdown is ON! Do you have your tickets for the India Bar Show on 26th-27th Oct. only at Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon! See you there!”
Ankrah has been contacted for a response.
