Martell’s XO Architect Edition lands in Asian duty free

The Martell XO Architect Edition by Christian de Portzamparc will be the first in the series to enter travel retailThe release will be the first time an expression from Martell’s Architect series to be available in travel retail, and could pave the way for future editions to follow suit.

Just 2,550 bottles of the Christian de Portzamparc edition will be available in Asia duty free. It will launch initially this month at Hong Kong International Airport, before being released to Macau and Taiwan Taoyuan Airport duty free stores in December, and Kuala Lumpur International Airport from April to May 2013.
Portzamparc, who designed the light-diffusing packaging for his Martell XO edition, is renowned for his urban building designs, including the Bastille Opera in Paris, The Philharmony in Luxemburg and Cidade da Musica in Rio de Janeiro
