Alan Lodge Young Spirits Writer of the Year Award launches
In celebration of an amazing colleague and journalist, who so sadly lost his life earlier this year, The Spirits Business is launching the Alan Lodge International Young Spirits Writer of the Year Award in his honour.
The Young International Spirits Writer of the Year Award has been launched in memory of Alan Lodge, who passed away in February 2012
Alan was a truly talented writer and our quest now is to reward other young writers and keep Alan’s memory alive.
Young journalists from all over the world are invited to enter and we are recruiting a totally independent team to judge the entries.
We are looking for outstanding copy that has been written on either a spirit brand(s) or the spirit markets.
The prize will be an all expenses paid trip to the Ardbeg Distillery, which was Alan’s favourite whisky, and £1000.
