Thomsen leaves TFWA and William Grant roles

Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has announced vice president of commercial Erik Thomsen will leave the company following his departure from William Grant and Sons at the end of this month.

Thomsen, who is also travel retail regional director for Europe at William Grant, will not be replaced at TWFA immediately. The company has instead decided to await the outcome of upcoming elections to its management committee and board at the TFWA Exhibition in October.

“Erik has been a highly valued member of the board of TFWA and all – the board, management committee and permanent team – would like to thank Erik for his commitment, enthusiasm and extremely valuable input during his time as Vice President Commercial,” said TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen.

“We are sad to see him leave, but wish him the very best for the future.”
