Potato vodka Zodiac signs Aveniu for US distribution

US luxury potato vodka brand Zodiac has signed a deal with Aveniu Brands to distribute its two products in the US.

The small batch vodka, which is owned by Texas-based Zodiac Brands, is produced in eastern Idaho using potatoes from nearby farms and water sourced from the Teton Mountains.

Tom Benson, chief executive of Zodiac Spirits, said: “We are very excited to enter into this partnership with Aveniu Brands. As a family-owned company, Aveniu shares the same values as our Idaho-produced award winning vodka.”

Aveniu Brands, which is situated in Baltimore, MD, also distributes cream liqueur Amarula, La Arenta Tequila, and Don Roberto Tequila.

Andrew Mansinne, president of Aveniu Brands, said: “Zodiac vodka is a fantastic addition to Aveniu’s growing spirits portfolio. We believe this brand is exceptionally well positioned to compete in the rapidly growing small batch spirits segment.”

Zodiac vodka is currently available in original and Black Cherry.
