Highland Park to unveil limited vintages at TFWA

Orkney-based distiller Highland Park is to unveil two new additions to its Vintage Collection, destined for the travel retail market only, at TFWA Asia Pacific later this month.

The collection, which is based upon available stocks of selected years, will now be joined by the Highland Park Vintage 1991 and Highland Park Vintage 2001, which replace the now out of stock 1990 and 1998 vintages respecitvely.
The Highland Park Vintage 1991 has been aged in American oak casks as well as European first fill oak casks, giving the spirit a light character with a smoky intensity.
The Highland Park Vintage 2001 has been aged only in first-fill American oak, allowing the natural smoky character of the whisky come through.
The two editions will join 1978 and 1973 vintages in Highland Park’s collection, all four of which will be on display at TFWA Asia Pacific in Singapore on 15-17 May. The Highland Park Drakkar and Leif Eriksson Limited Editions will also be available at the show.
