Green Mark vodka gets £2m UK marketing push
Russian vodka brand Green Mark is to spend £2m on a major new marketing campaign in the UK following its addition to the First Drinks portfolio.
The campaign, entitled Toast of Russia, will be based on Russian constructivism art from the 1920s and feature advertising, PR, digital and RM activity in key markets around the UK.
Green Mark, the world’s fourth largest spirit by volume with annual sales of 10 million 9-litre cases worldwide, is already being featured on advertising in city centres and London Underground stations, with further outdoor advertising at multiple retailer sites and on-trade locations to come.
Hayley Aldous, senior brand manager for Green Mark at First Drinks, said: “We are extremely excited to be launching Green Mark to the UK market. The Toast of Russia will be a high impact campaign which will really encapsulate the brand’s essence of genuine Russian authenticity. We are committed to long-term investment in Green Mark to really establish the brand in the UK.”
Green Mark, which was picked up by distributor First Drinks at the beginning of this year, is already earmarked for retail in Waitrose, Tesco, Morrison’s and ASDA amongst others.
