Jamesons’ Deconstructed cocktail
By Marinel FitzSimonsJamesons Whiskey has come up with a new twist on the Shot-Tail.
Inspired by the current gastronomic trend for deconstructed food, Jameson Shot-tails are whiskey cocktails deconstructed to create two drinks – one of Jameson Irish Whiskey and the other containing the remaining ingredients that make up a cocktail.
Nicola Connolly, Jameson International marketing manager, said: “Jameson Shot-tails are designed to be sipped and savoured as premium cocktails. The majority of the shots that accompany Jameson are served chilled, providing a refreshing contrast to the smoothness and warmth of the Jameson shot, while maintaining the purity of the whiskey itself by not directly mixing it.
Shot-tails will be available at Jameson events as well as selected high-end on-trade outlets in cocktail-friendly markets, such as the US and UK.
