Smirnoff goes all soft and fluffy

Smirnoff today launched two new flavours in the US market; Whipped Cream and Fluffed Marshmallow.

American celebrity DJ and socialite Amber Rose is the face of the campaign, which aims to diversify the brands target audience, creating a fun and playful image through the marshmallow flavour, and a “luscious and opulent” facet through the whipped cream variant.

The new flavours target bachelorette parties and “classic guy’s night out” style drinkers.

“I can’t decide whether I am more sassy or sweet, and maybe that’s why I’m partnering with Smirnoff. I may just be a little of both,” commented Rose on her partnership with the brand.

David Tapscott, brand director for Smirnoff, added: “Flavored vodkas continue to be widely enjoyed by our consumers, which is why we’re consistently adding innovative, high quality flavors to the SMIRNOFF portfolio.

“We’re confident that the new SMIRNOFF Whipped Cream and SMIRNOFF Fluffed Marshmallow Flavored Vodkas will be broadly embraced, much like their namesake dessert counterparts.”
