Hendricks all round for Solent Brambles Cricket

This year’s Brambles cricket match supporters were kept in good spirits courtesy of Hendricks and their floating bar.

The match, which takes place on the large sandbank in the middle of the Solent between the Isle of Wight andSouthamptonwhich only appears once a year when the tide is low enough.

This year supporters were kept well watered, not just by the slowly creeping tide, but also by the “curious cucumber-infused libations” provided by Hendricks.

The game, which lasts for as long as the sea allows, which is usually not more than an hour, is yet another of the slightly (or arguably very) eccentric events that Hendricks, a brand with a penchant for the bizarre, is quick to align itself with.

While not the most competitive of matches, it offers an excellent opportunity for the English to revel in what they do best; namely eccentricity.
