Bar Convent Berlin hosts Poland as first ever guest country

This October Germany’s premium bar and spirits trade show, Bar Convent Berlin (BCB) will host its first ever guest country.

“Bar Poland” will bring together some of the country’s finest bar tenders to promote Polandand its cocktail culture and alcoholic heritage through carefully blended drinks and painstakingly selected spirits.

Founded in 2007, the team behind BCB decided to add a new area to the event to celebrate the show’s fifth anniversary. “Since we started Bar Convent one of the biggest visitor groups at the show have been Polish bar professionals from Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Gdansk, so the choice for our first guest country was only natural”, explained Bastian Heuser, CEO and co-founder of BCB.

The whole event will have a Polish theme to it, as well as a special seminar with Leszek Wiwala, president of the Association of Polish Employees of the Spirits Industry (ZP PPS) on the main Mixology stage, giving insights into the Polish beverage scene.

In addition, the German magazine and media partner of BCB, Mixology, will cover Warsaw nightlife in depth in its October issue which will launch at the event.

BCB aims to attract 4,500 visitors over the two days in October, with 32% more brands present than last year and 40 international speakers from the industry to present on a range of relevant topics.
