Ceylon Arrack toasts newly homed baby elephant with new drink

Ceylon Arrack, spirit of Ceylon, salutes the summer of 2011 with creation of a new cocktail and adopted baby elephant

The cocktail was created off the back of a competition where bartenders were invited to name the new baby elephant that was being temporarily kept at aSri Lanka’s Department of Wildlife Conservation.

The winner, Tom Bartram, created the cocktail which is a take on the classic Ruby Punch, in honour of the newly named baby Ruby.

Ceylon Arrack is dedicated to the preservation of wildlife inSri Lanka, and consequently for every bottle of the spirit sold, a donation is made towards wildlife conservation in the country.
