Highland Park to host Midwinter Social

Edrington-owned Highland Park is set to host an event at London’s Old Truman Brewery to mark the start of winter.

The Midwinter Social is set to take place on 24-25 November at The Boiler House at the Old Truman Brewery

With the narrative of Highland Park deeply rooted in Nordic traditions, the brand will honour the Winter Solstice – the shortest day of the year – with a social event.

Taking place over two evenings on 24-25 November at The Boiler House at the Old Truman Brewery, the Midwinter Social will give consumers the chance to “celebrate with bonfires, music and dance”.

The event will include music from Kipps, DJ Finnebassen and Eelke Kleijn, as well as Highland Park-infused cocktails, Nordic-inspired food curated by Root + Bone and Highland Park whisky tastings around a fire pit.

Thursday evening’s event will be broadcast to a global audience via Facebook live, and will feature live music sets from Kipps and Finnebassen, as well as a whisky tasting with global brand ambassador, Martin Markvardsen.

Mike MacKenzie, Highland Park brand manager said: “Following the success of our Midsummer Social in June this year, we are looking forward to celebrating Highland Park’s Viking heritage once again at our Midwinter Social.

“With a bigger venue and more immersive experiences, the Midwinter Social is the perfect opportunity for guests to celebrate winter with friends.”
