Ogilvy launches bottled cocktail mixes
By Nicola CarruthersScottish potato vodka producer Ogilvy has launched a line of bottled vodka-based cocktail mixes, made from fresh fruit juices and herbs.
The Perfect Pour range consists of Milton Mule, Ogilvy Orchard and Cottarhouse CoolerA blend of potato vodka, fresh fruit juices and herbs, Perfect Pour is a new product range consisting of three flavours which will change seasonally.
The range is the brainchild of Ogilvy Vodka founders Graeme Jarron and his wife Caroline who launched their signature potato vodka in January 2015.
The flavours currently available in the range all contain Ogilvy Vodka. Milton Mule is a combination of vodka, Scottish raspberry juice and lime, Ogilvy Orchard combines vodka, apple and elderflower, while Cottarhouse Cooler is a mix of vodka, lemon, lime and mint.
The pre-mixed concoctions are also said to go well when blended with tonic, lemonade, ginger beer or Prosecco.
The idea for Perfect Pour came about in November 2015 after Graeme and Caroline Jarron attended the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham.
Soft-launched at Foodies Festival in Edinburgh this month, Perfect Pour is stocked in a number of farm shops and premium drinks retailers across the UK.
Perfect Pour is priced at £20.00 and is bottled at 20% ABV at the Jarron’s farm in Forfar.
