Disaronno reveals Roberto Cavalli collaboration

Italian liqueur Disaronno has partnered with revered fashion designer Roberto Cavalli to create a limited edition bottle design.

Roberto Cavalli is the third fashion house to partner with Disaronno

Set to be unveiled for the first time at TFWA World Exhibition and Conference in Cannes later this month, the design takes its inspiration from the Robert Cavalli spring/summer pre-collection.

Under the sea and safari locations also influenced the design, which features a graphic animal print.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Roberto Cavalli for our third Disaronno limited edition,” said Augusto Reina, CEO of Illva Saronno. “To include Cavalli in the list of our collaborations is a real honour and a truly special moment in the history of our brand.”

High visibility merchandising and in-store activations will support the limited edition bottle, which will be made available in “key hubs” across the Americas, Europe and the Gulf.

“We are really excited to join Illva Saronno in this initiative,” said Renato Semerari, CEO of Roberto Cavalli. “Two of the most well-known brands of the Made in Italy getting together is always worth celebrating.”

Part of the proceeds of the limited edition will be donated to Fashion 4 development – a global charity sponsored by United Nations that uses fashion to help combat issues in the developing world.

In 2014, Disaronno released a limited edition bottle design with Italian fashion house Versace, and with Moschino the previous year.

The Italian liqueur brand also revealed its first line extension last year, with €300 Scotch-based liqueur Disaronno Riserva.

The expression has recently been extended to the UK and the US.
