Tomatin launches ‘rare’ 35yo Antiquary Scotch

Tomatin Distillery has launched a “rare” 35-year-old bottling of its the Antiquary Scotch whisky brand.

Just 800 bottles of The Antiquary 35 Year Old have been made available

The Highland distillery will launch just 800 bottles of The Antiquary 35 Year Old, which has been crafted from both malt and grain whiskies.

The whisky is said to have an aroma of honey, mixed berries, stewed apples, vanilla and oaky spice, and a flavour of caramel, sweet pastry, tropical fruits, polished leather and citrus.

“Following a brand refresh earlier this year, we have seen growing interest in the Antiquary whiskies in both existing and new markets.

“Much like the original recipe created by the Hardie brothers back in 1888, this 35 Year old is a truly remarkable blended Scotch whisky of which the founders themselves would be immensely proud.”

Tomatin revealed a new look for its the Antiquary brand earlier this year to attract a younger demographic.

The Antiquary 35 Year Old will be sold in select markets at an RRP of £299.
