William Grant unveils Rugby World Cup campaign

William Grant & Sons UK has launched a social media campaign offering fans the opportunity to win tickets to the Rugby World Cup 2015.

William Grant & Sons is offering 40 tickets to the Rugby World Cup 2015

Set to run across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, the #RaiseEmUp2015 campaign encourages entrants to “raise it, snap it and share it” by “raising a glass” to support their team.

Participants are asked to share their pictures on social media using the hashtag #RaiseEmUp2015.

A total of 40 pairs of tickets are up for grabs, including two for the final at Twickenham on 31 October.

Winning names will be drawn on a weekly basis for tickets to group matches, quarter-finals and semi-finals.

Furthermore, merchandise including t-shirts, caps and Gilbert mini rugby balls will also be given away as prizes, while consumers taking part in bars will receive a “snap and win” card when they buy a drink from the William Grant & Sons portfolio for the chance to win branded merchandise.

“We are incredibly excited about our association with Rugby World cup 2015,” commented Gary Keogh, marketing director, William Grant & Sons UK. “This tournament is one of the world’s greatest sporting events and we’re looking forward to engaging millions of rugby fans with our portfolio of brands in and around match venues, at bars or at home.”

The campaign will be promoted through 3,000 #RaiseEmUp2015 promotional kits in selected bars and stores, as well as 600,000 neck collars on participating William Grant & Sons UK brands.

William Grant & Sons was named as the official spirits and Champagne provider of the 2015 Rugby World Cup last month.
