Courvoisier launches luxury scented gift packs

Maxxium UK is releasing two limited edition Courvoisier Cognac gift packs featuring the brand’s XO and Intiale Extra expressions and bespoke fragrances.

Courvoisier Cognac’s Célébration Sensorielle gift packs include two bespoke fragrances inspired by the Belle Époque era of Paris

Inspired by Paris and the Belle Époque era, the Célébration Sensorielle gift packs have been designed to give consumers the opportunity to enjoy the Cognac expressions as they would have been consumed during this time.

Each gift pack comes complete with two fragrances, commissioned by luxury scent technician Ericka Duffy, which “heighten” the Cognac drinking experience with fragrances from this Parisian time period.

The first scent is called Brise de Vincennes (the breeze from Vincennes) and aims to recreate the daytime aromas from the Belle Époque era, with notes of fresh bread, coffee and vanilla.

The second fragrance is Nuit Débordante (heady night) to evoke the “glamour and intrigue of Paris after dark” with smells of tobacco, candied orange and patchouli.

“Spirits consumers are becoming more involved with the brands they choose than ever before,” said Chris Anderson, Maxxium UK’s marketing controller for luxury brands. “They have a need to connect with a brand through authentic experiences so we developed these luxury gift packs to give Cognac connoisseurs and those that enjoy the finer things in life the opportunity to experience Courvoisier like never before.

Célébration Sensorielle XO comes with a 700ml bottle and 20 fragranced aroma cones, 10 of each scent, as well as a Courvoisier brand book with tasting notes and a brand history at an RRP of £190.

Célébration Sensorielle Initiale Extra comes with a 700ml bottle, two fragranced candles and the Courvoisier brand book for an RRP of £397.

Both packs are available now from select UK retailers, including Harrods, Hedonism, Fortnum and Mason and Harvey Nichols.
