Cognac & Brandy Brand Champions 2015
By adminCOGNAC & BRANDY BRAND CHAMPION 2015: PAUL MASSON
Paul Masson Grande Amber has spurred growth in the US brandy segmentAfter recording almost perfectly uniform stagnant sales for the past four years, Paul Masson Grande Amber Brandy saw a 23% volume surge in 2014, boosting the annual financial results of owner Constellation Brands.
The brand’s first foray into the flavoured spirit sector with the launch of Paul Masson Grande Amber Peach “revitalised” sales by “bringing news to traditional consumers” and reaching a wider audience. In turn, interest in the flavoured variant has bolstered the growth of the American brandy’s VS and VSOP expressions.
Elsewhere in the global brandy scene, the world’s best-selling brandy brand, United Spirits’ McDowell’s No.1, continued to witness plummeting sales.
