George Dickel master distiller moves on

Diageo has confirmed its George Dickel master distiller John Lunn is to leave the company this week.

John Lunn, master distiller of George Dickel, is to leave Diageo afetr 11 years with the company

Lunn, who has worked with the company for 11 years, is leaving Diageo for an “exciting opportunity” on 13 March.

As master distiller for Tennessee whiskey brand George Dickel, Lunn has also worked as manager of Stitzel-Weller, and is site director Southern Hub for the group.

Diageo confirmed that a replacement is yet to be found.
