Starbucks launches alcohol menu in UK stores

Coffee chain Starbucks has revealed plans to serve alcohol after 4pm in a select number of its UK stores.

Starbucks has lined up the launch of its Evenings Programme in the UK, serving alcoholic drinks after 4pm

The group is set to launch its “Evenings Programme” in the UK, having already implemented it in 32 US sites, starting with its shop at Stanstead Airport.

After 4pm, the chosen stores will also serve a range of hot meals alongside wine and beer, however it is not thought the chain will serve any spirits or cocktails.

There are 400 Starbucks stores across the UK. Alcohol available as part of its Evenings Programme will only be available to consume in-store.

Other stores which will host the Starbucks Evening Programme have not yet been confirmed.
